Greg Gooch is the ALVGC Events Director. It is NOT the responsibility of the events director to act as tournament or activity coordinator. All tournaments and events will be facilitated by a volunteer activity coordinator. The volunteer activity coordinator will be provided administrative guidance and assistance through the ALVGC EventsDirector.
Additional tournaments or facility activities need to be coordinated NLT 30 days in advance of activity through the ALVGC Events Director.
The ALVGC will allow 2 major (Course Closed) Golf
Activities each month.
The ALVGC will allow ONLY 2 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) Golf Activities each month.(Course WILL NOT be closed for these events)
ALL memorial tournaments will be combined with the J. Michael Kearney Golf Tournament.
(There will be NO separate memorial tournaments)
Phoenix Wounded Warrior Battalion Training Clinics (Practice Facilities Only )
are scheduled for every Monday, 1 March 2011 through 30 Aug 2011, 0900-1300h. (Note) NO training is scheduled for 4 July, 2011 due to holiday
ALVAH Blind Training Clinics (Practice Facilities Only)

Prizes: By flight based on handicap
Any player shooting 10 strokes better than their handicap will be moved up a flight
In a two day tournament, players could be assigned flights after the first round
Full handicap tournament
Players must have five (5) scores of 18 holes played at ALVGC
Players must have six (6) scores of 18 holes played at ALVGC with 60% of handicap
Players must have been a member of ALVGC for thirty (30) days or more
Club handicap required: Players must have a minimum of ten (10) score cards turned into the club to establish a club handicap (prior to the tournament)
